The 2025 RISE Program
The Real World Immersion for Student Excellence (RISE) Program, organized by nine Treasure Valley Companies, provides high school students with real-world opportunities as they contemplate the next steps in their education and their career options. During the program:
- Tour and spend time at various company locations in the Treasure Valley
- Gain hands-on exposure to different industries
- Develop essential skills
- Discover diverse career opportunities
- Build a professional network with business leaders and peers from across Idaho
鈥淲e are thrilled to open our doors to this year鈥檚 RISE students and hope this gives them a chance to build meaningful relationships, discover emerging fields in global food and agriculture, and refine their communication and presentation skills,鈥 said Simplot鈥檚 Global Talent Program Lead, Emily Fullmer. 鈥淔eeding the world is a big job and we are eager for Idaho students to step up to the challenge.鈥
Several Treasure Valley organizations, including Simplot, Idaho Power, Clearwater, and Micron, sponsored the 2024 RISE program, which started in 2023. This initiative provided students with valuable one-month externships at these companies.
